Rob Rusling is a Fashion Photographer based in Paris.
Rob is excited by the opportunity to challenge the way we communicate visually. His approach to Photography, moving Image and image making in general is both intuitive and experimental whilst also being held up and supported by a deep and thorough knowledge of photography’s contextual and technical foundations. His artisanal approach to image making has so far been realised along side clients including Maison Margiela, Vivienne Westwood, Tag Heuer, A COLD WALL*, DIESEL, Balmain, Gareth Pugh, Shaun Leane, Adidas, Sony Music Along with a variety of publications Such as Paper, Numero, 10 Magazine, Vogue, GQ and The Face among others.
Previously first assistant to the iconic Fashion Photographer Nick Knight, Rob has since established his own unique and vibrant style of visual story telling. His unique approach to the process of image creation from start to finish enables Rusling’s work to transcend the boundaries of conventional photography and instead speak to an ever changing contemporary visual landscape, whilst also holding on to the fundamentals of photography and it’s beautiful ability to communicate.
Notable is Rob’s 2020 sell out Self published book titled “Pierrot” Featuring the ever talented Uglyworldwide and made in collaboration with an outstanding team of creatives the book has since been included in the National Art Library collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Also of note was his inclusion in the 2019 NEW WAVE 100 list awarded by the British Fashion Council as part of the 2019 Fashion Awards. The a list of 100 of the most innovative and inspiring young creative talents from around the world.
